"On the first day there, you should get a solid overview of Singapore Singapore City Gallery. For me, this give a good foundation and a greater appreciation for the city. Next to the City Gallery, is one of the best hawker centres called Maxwell Food Centre. Tip#1 Avoid the lunch crowd from 11 am - 2:30 pm. If you're going to one, this is THE one.
