Here's what Trippy members say about San Diego:
"Staying in downtown San Diego can be expensive and disappointing. Most people end up driving to the beach to struggle to find parking and pay extra to keep their cars in the hotel parking garage overnight. Stay near the beach in La Jolla. If you feel the need to go downtown, you can! The highlight of downtown is the Gaslamp Quarter and Padres stadium, Petco Park. There honestly isn't much for families to do there besides eat and go to a game."
"If you are coming to San Diego and you have a car you can stay anywhere. If you want to be by the beach then stay in Mission Bay, La Jolla , Pacific beach or Coronado. If that is not important stay in Mission Valley. It is close to zoo, SeaWorld, and all major sights."
