Here's what Trippy members say about Los Gatos:
"Los Gatos in the last town before you head over the Santa Cruz Mountains to Santa Cruz. It is an old town with lots of local flavor, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. It is also great for outdoor enthusiasts with walking trails, mountain biking, equestrian trails, and hiking. Some of the highlights are Testarossa Winery in the old seminary, The Cats restaurant and bar which is a historic road house from the railroad days, nightlife at Charley's LG and the local dive bar Black Watch. As well as many fabulous restaurants. Lexington Reservoir is just outside of town and offers hiking/biking trails, non motorized boats, and fishing. The Santa Cruz Mountains have their own AVA and have many wineries with amazing views, not to mention award winning wines. Pack a picnic from the Summit Store Inc. and try Loma Prieta Winery, the views of the mountain range and ocean are spectacular!" -Michelle
