Insider tips about Como

Here's what Trippy members say about Como:

"Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta - Duomo di Como is wonderful, the old town very charming with beautiful architecture (including a well preserved medieval city wall), and very 'walkable'. There are several museums, and much more. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, fashion shops in walking distance of the Duomo and Piazza Alessandro Volta (Como is the birthplace of 'the' Alessandro Volta). Famous also for the manufacture of silk, and stores show off the most beautiful examples of silk scarfs, shawls, etc."
