Here's what Trippy members say about Barstow:
"Do seek out what is one of the last remaining (and beautifully restored) Harvey House, Barstow and the adjacent small but entertainng Western America Railroad Museum! We stopped there first as a lark, and now return every time we passed through! Barstow also has a delightful and delicious casual steakhouse and family restaurant that should not be missed: Idle Spurs. Charming, friendly, full bar, one of a kind. Ignore its out of the way, kind of weird location and take a chance. Once you walk in, you'll find it warm and fun and welcoming and unique... this is not a cookie cutter chain place."
