The Pierre Hotel

Known for its gracious service, the iconic Fifth Avenue hotel overlooking the emerald expanse of Central Park will re-open on June 1st following a meticulous 100 million renovation to create new guestroom and bath interiors. The Pierre is a testament to understated elegance. Guests are welcomed into a marble lobby with exquisitely arranged fresh flowers, graceful archways and museum-caliber artwork. White-gloved elevator attendants whisk guests to their rooms. Today, as in decades past, the hotel is renowned for its impeccable service. All guestrooms and suites have been transformed to feature a warm, inviting residential-style d?cor with a feeling of quiet luxury. High ceilings and abundant natural light evoke a gracious airy experience that enhances the newly renovated interiors. The 100 million renovation also included the reconfiguring of the first floor public areas to accommodate a new restaurant, Le Caprice, as well as 2 East, a new lobby lounge. Le Caprice will open in the Summer 2009, and will be modeled after its legendary counterpart in London. The eclectic menu will be based on Le Caprice in London, which includes European classics with some international influence. 2 East, located off the main lobby will feature light fare, afternoon tea and a striking copper bar. Guests experience the extraordinary expertise that is at their fingertips with the award winning Clefs d?Or Concierge Team. The seasoned team of professional concierges will handle spa treatments, restaurant reservations, limousines, personal shoppers, private tours and sightseeing adventures.
