"Hi, I would have to agree with Evi's suggestions! There are some that may overlap so bear with me: Venice Beach and Boardwalk- fun place to walk around and see the street performers and local vendors, muscle beach is there as well and sometimes they have entertaining competitions and such. This is definitely a day thing. Third Street Promenade - this is more of an evening thing if you want to see the street performers and get some shopping done along the way. It's a great place to people watch an walk around. The Grove While the selection of shopping isn't my favorite (which is good since you aren't looking to spend money), this is a fun place to people watch as well, you can pick a bench and grab an ice cream, participate in a free yoga class (or whatever is the class of the day - on the center lawn), you can hop on the trolley and ride to the other side of the mall to go to the Farmers Market which I'm sure will keep you entertained for a while. They have all kinds of food and things for sale. Hike any of the Hollywood Hills. Runyon Canyon Park gives you a great view. The Griffith Observatory is a great place to see the city, you can walk around for free and take in the city, parking is also free! Taking a drive down Mulholland Drive offers free views of the city and a great drive. You can get tickets to see live tapings of your favorite shows. You can check out my answer to another Trippy member for details on how to order these tickets: " See More

"I would rent a car and hang out in Malibu Beach for an entire day (horrible traffic hours going to/from Malibu on a weekend are 11am-8pm), you can go to the Getty Villa, eat at the many restaurants on PCH (Malibu Farm Cafe, Malibu Seafood is great), shop at the Malibu Country Mart." See More

"Los Angeles Convention Center, Los Angeles City Hall and Getty Villa, are my favourite spots." See More
