Tips and reviews

Here's what Trippy members say about Queen Street West:

"From here venture along Queen Street West for more boutique type shopping and eateries."  See More

"You don't mention how long and if you'll be staying in a hotel or an apartment so it's hard to pin it down specific answers. I wouldn't worry about "dangerous neighbourhoods" as the city it extremely safe and any of the rough parts are in the outskirts and not easily accessible by transit. If you want something in the heart of it all you'll want to stay downtown within 5-10 mins walking distance from the subway loop. There are too many neighbourhoods to run through but check out a breakdown of what's what here !"  See More

"If you're a fan of culture hit up Queen Street West from University Ave to Roncesvalles Ave it's a long strip but you'll find parks, boutiques, book stores, galleries, street art, restos - one of the best areas the city has to offer."  See More

"If you plan on doing any shopping, skip the Eaton Centre and head over to Queen Street West it spans the west side of the city and if full of every type of store you could want and the local favourite Trinity - Bellwoods Park where you'll find great up and coming art galleries, book stores, coffee joints and gastro-pubs."  See More

"West Queen Street West was just named the 2nd hippest neighborhood in the world."  See More

"Not sure - best downtown shopping is Queen Street West."  See More
