Zanzibar Island

Zanzibar in April

Is it still worth visiting Zanzibar in April as it is the rainy season? Essentially we want to find a nice quiet beach and chill. Any recommendations?

Here is another site that may help you. I don't know about you but i enjoy swimming in the rain but it looks as if you won't be able to sit on the beach all day long due to the rain!

Hi Rafiki,
April is a rains season you can't get a way from it specially in April but it does not raining all day . You will have a plenty of time to enjoy sun set and walk on shoe. Beaches if you likes to have a lot of fun I will recommend you go to Nugwi other wise go to kendwa rock about 30min s to Nungwi.
Welcome to zanzibar
