Travler from the states

Hi I'm Liz and I'm from the States...I'm arriving in York from London then going to Helmsley, and don't know where to start on transport...If any one can help it would be way cool...

Quite easy - you need to take a Scarborough bound Yorkshire Coastliner bus from York to Pickering and in Pickering change to a No.128 Helmsley bound bus from Scarborough and District bus company. See www.yorkshirecoastliner.co.uk and www.eyms.co.uk/scarb/mainsd.htm .

Haha, yes there is both a direct bus and the Pickering route depending on what time of day you need to travel. See the sites above.
