Please provide me bus transportation details from LCCT to 36 Jalan Pudu Citin Hotel Pudu.
am coming to KL next august and find myself torn between 2 ho(s)tels.
1. Tune Hotels at Downtown KL. it's cheap but being a no-frill hotels, i'm afraid i will spend more and more money for ***-and-tats. plus, it's NOT in the BB (Bukit Bintang) area.
2. 41 Berangan. anybody heard of this place? found it on the web and fell in love with the pictures. BUT it's quite a lot more expensive compared to Tune.
somebody please help me!

hi all, selamat jumpa,
I am a malaysian who has lived practically for the last 35 years in UK.I have travelled back often ,but this time, we are comming back after about five years.I will be staying exactly for 22 days, in May 2006, with two children aged 11 and 14.
Although I have family, and also houses in KL.what I have found in the past is that time flies so fast while you are enjoying going here and there with family , one does not tend to see the places one should. This time we want to make it a tourist vist rather family!!!!had enough lah from family --hehehehe, so much so beleive it or not I have had no opportunity to even visit Camenron Highlands, for all the twenty five or thirty visist I have made to malasyia in all these years! It is not that I could afford, just family here , family there! This time it has be different!
I want to know:-does anyone knows of the 4x4 drive club that recently ran a rally from London to Kuala Lumpur?I am very keen to join and participate in such rallies. If I can have their number and address before hand I would appreciate it all.
I understand there are helicopter rides available for sight seeing of KL.Does anyone knows where these are available from?
Where is exactly Bukit Gandah Elephant reserve, and how to get there in the best time and some comfort?
Are there any facilities availabale for visiting Taman Negara, and staying there for a night or two, as a family so that british born children can experience what a real jungle is.
Thanks in advance, terima kasih,
Some times too much info, can be a bad as too little. I need a little help (guidance) to put my list of must do's together.
I'm here on a very long business trip (in the KL area), however can only take off a day at a time, with an occasional weekend. So most of my trips need to be day trips. Using my few weekends carefully for the extra special places.
I'm not one of those people who backpack into the woods and rough it, but would like to see some wildlife in it's natural habitat. Also have read about an elephant sanctuary. I do have an interest in most any type of sanctuary.
Besides wildlife, would like to see some of the 'real' Malaysia. Not the big city, but places where tourists haven't over ran yet. As a rule, if I see a McDonalds or KFC, I consider the area spoiled. ;-)
Hello to all,
I'll be in KL soon. And sure wanna do some shopping.
1. have read many post on forum and there are a few tips about the "best" place to buy cameras. I set my mind on the OLYMPUS - Mju digital 500 which is 1800 RM on the Olympys MY website. This is the suggested price. Which is the "usual" discount I should get off that price after some bargaining at retail shops (such as Selangor in Pertama e.g.) ? 20%? More?
2. Is it cheaper to buy Royal Selangor pewter items at the factory site itself?
3. I went to KL 10 years ago and visited a factory outlet in the city center (not sure the name was "Reject Shop") with brand items at discounted prices. Can't remember where it was. Any idea? What about similar shops' locations?
Thanks to the posters for their help.
Can anyone tell me where to buy an underwater diposal camera in KL?
By the way, where can buy HANGTEN, BALENO and BOSINI shirt in KL? Which shopping mall? Thanks!
Can anyone recommend some book store to me in KL? more chinese book and cheap.
By the way,how far isn't from KL to Putrajaya? how much if I using Taxi from Jalan Alor to there? Any LRT to there? Looking forward ur reply, thanks!

I've shortlisted The Lemon Garden at The Shangri-La, Sri Angkasa, KL Tower, and a few other places- I've heard that the Lemon Garden is very good, but some of my friends say it's a little hastle to wait for the chefs to cook your food while watching... Thanks
