Mid April... Too late to see Cherry Blossoms?

Any possibility of seeing them bloom at the tail end anywhere in Tokyo at that time? I know it's a little late but just wondering if they will all be gome by then... April 15th give or take a day or two...

This year you may miss the bloom in Tokyo. Because of warmer weather cherry blooming is getting earlier this year. Go to Hakone or Mount Takao if you want to see cherries bloom.

Taigaa is right. Tokyo's first blossoms have already begun to bloom. There will probably not be anything in the city by mid-April. Best to go to a higher elevation as he suggested or if you have time, take a daytrip somewhere further north.

OK, we'll go to Hakone too.

They have begun blooming now, so the only place to see blossoms by mid April will be North - Tokoku, Hokkaido.
