St. John's

travelling solo

Hello!

Could you tell me if it is considered safe to travel to St.John's for a couple of days if one is a female and traveling alone? Is the town considered safe and are there any general things that should be avoided?

Thank you!

You couldn't hardly be any safer than St John's, or anywhere in Nfld. for that matter.

St. John's is possibly the safest city in Canada. You should obviously be aware of yourself and your surroundings on George Street late at night when the area is swarming with drunk tourists, but you're otherwise fine.

Hi
Its an extremely safe place to visit.
Even George Street is safe.
Some local drunks late at night on George.
Enjoy your trip.
