Am I rigth? having seen a sample at Holar i Hjaltadalur many years ago? Sincerely yours, a friend of Ísland B.Lundgreen.
I am bookmarking this thread because I am intrigued by your question. Right about what?
You probably already know that it was Gisli Jónsson, Bishop of Skálholt, whose revision and completion led to this version of the Bible being called 'Gudbrands Biblia'. I didn't until I googled...so thank you for prompting me to find out something new. :-)
Not quite sure what your question is, but as Leics found out, the Skalholt bishop, Gisli Jonson was the main source for the "Gudbrandsbiblia".
If you can clear up, what the question is exactly, i am sure we can point you in the right direction.
