House prices...  (2 Answers)

Hi

I'd really appreciate an idea of house prices in Skagen. Both to buy and to rent.

Also, is there a local board or paper where houses are advertised?

Many thanks

grave search  (1 Answer)

Is there an online way to find who is buried where in Denmark? I want to find the graves of my great great grandparents who lived and died in Skagen Denmark, and if possible, see the physical location of where their homes and businesses once were (in the latter case I do have addresses.)

Self-catering apartments attached to hotel/resorts?  (1 Answer)

Hi
We'd like to have a self-catering option at our accommodation, but also access to facilities of a resort / hotel....
Please can anyone recommend any options in / fairly near Skagen that we should consider?
(Preferably not TOO pricey!)
Thanks
Jess

Getting to Skagen  (2 Answers)

Hello everyone,

My partner and I are currently in Stockholm and have just booked accommodation in Skagen. There seem to be a number of train/bus/ferry/combinations that we can take in order to get there, and I was wondering if anyone knew of the best way? By best, I mean the cheapest and quickest, but mostly cheapest. I have found perhaps the best way to be a train from Stockholm to Goteburg, a ferry to FredrIkshavn, then a bus or train to Skagen. Any info would be greatly appreciated :)

Getting from Goteborg, Sweden, to Skagen, Denmark  (1 Answer)

Hi! We will be based near Copenhagen and, for the week that we will be there, we can choose to either drive to Goteborg to see some friends or drive to Skagen which I was told is an awesome sight to behold. Is there any way that, when we are in Goteborg, to take a ferry across the channel to (quickly) get to Skagen and back to Goteborg within a day? I just want to see the two seas crashing together. Thank you for your insight.

hostel question  (2 Answers)

hi, my friend and i want to spend about 5 days at skagen, but the only hostel we could find info about costs around 500kroner (100dollars, about) per night! Which is crazy. So, if anyone could tell me anything about reasonably priced accomodations in skagen, that would be wonderful. (ie, we are poor students)
