I have heard drink prices are very expensive in Singapore, can anybody give me a rough guide to beer and wine prices
in local pubs and restaurants. thanks
You have posted in the Miscellaneous forum which is for general chit-chat rather than travel questions.
I have asked staff to move your post to the Singapore travel forum where you should get some helpful replies.
Meanwhile, this site will give you a rough guide to some prices. You can change the comparison currency to your own curency. Look at the range of prices, not just the average:
If you go to the local foodcourts where you typically have a lot of burmese style restaurants, then a large bottle of beer can be had for around 5 Singapore Dollar.
If you go to an upscale english style pub, then you are more talking 12 to 15 Singapore Dollars for a pint.
And then you have the really fancy places like Marina Bay Sands, where I am sure that it is more expensive, but I have not been there yet myself.
Here is a typical wine and beer price list at a local pub at Boat Quay... plenty of bars and pubs at the three quays here... namely Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay..
Btw... am not promoting the pub.. I don't drink...
