My family is in the liquor business, especially wine. We are looking forward to trying Germany's very excellent wines and understand there are several wineries not far from Schriesheim. We are traveling from U.S. to Schriesheim end of July for family reunion. 17 in our group. If we don't rent (several) cars, we do we get from Frankfurt to hotel 2 km. from Schriesheim? How should we get around all week? Rent bicycles?
I haven't been to Germany since 1981 and then had tour bus as student trip. Do trains run between Schriesheim and Heidelburg, etc?
