Saint Pierre and Miquelon

Ferry in October??

Is it possible to go to St-Pierre et Miquelon by ferry from NL in October? Every website I found mentionned a service until September.

No it's not, the ferry service ends in September. To get there in October you'd have to go by plane (http://www.airsaintpierre.com).

Oh, that's good to know! If you have a link or phone number make sure to post it, I asked someone who used to live there and he had no idea :o)

Yes and no. The local government is running a ferry service on Fridays and Sundays but they only seem to care about locals going to Newfoundland and have done nothing to communicate effectively with potential tourists. Try for yourself, you have under 10 minutes to find the travel times on the government website : www.cg975.fr

Have fun.
The other ferry service has now closed for the season.
