My husband, toddler and I are planning a trip to St. Moritz, Switzerland in middle of May this year. What do you recommend in clothing? What are the temperatures like in May? How is the wind chills? Should we dress warmly?
Hay! Sankt Mortitz, is always a bit cold... Being high up in the mountains, even in summer the temperature can drop to 0° during evening or night. If you'll be lucky, you will get warm days and no need to have a thick jumper untill the evening. But sure you'll need it after 5pm... (sometimes you can still go skiing here in may...) pack also a hat each, wind could rise and be cold. good luck! ciao
Definitely bring warm clothing and wet weather gear just in case. Also be aware mid-May is low season in the area, with many hotels and summertime tourist lifts closed until the end of the month.
