ill hope somebody can help me with this.
I read in some travel blogs that it was closed for environmental restoration sometime January 2015? Has it been opened to tourists again?
Not sure if this is travel related but I might have to stay in Puerto for a month and will need a really fast internet connection. Does anyone know of a company that offers the best/fastest connection in Puerto Princesa, Palawan? Is cable internet available? Our location is San Pedro, Socrates Road to be exact. Any suggestions or leads are appreciated. :)
Hi, we booked a flight to Puerto Princesa and a hotel 0.5km away from the airport yesterday. Thru a blogger, I got in touch thru text with a local there asking for honda bay and the underground river trip. What else should we visit there? Please give me an idea on the local rates that are affordable, am travelling on a lean budget :)
My son and i will be there on December. We want to travel lite. What essentials should we bring? What should be our itinerary to make the most out of the 3 nights/4D stay? Though the first night maybe late already since our ETA is past 7pm already.
I want my son to enjoy this trip, he is only 13years old.
Hope this community can suggest the best.
It will be my first time to visit Palawan!
Are there taxis from the airport willing to leave the city proper? I will be staying at Sheridan. >
Also, are there tricycles?? We plan to eat at Badjao before going to Sheridan.
Or is it more convenient to hire a van? If you think this is better can you recommend a driver to me? And quote please. >_ I will need Airport > Badjao > Sheridan or just Badjao > Sheridan.
What makes Puerto Princesa unique among Philippine cities?
How can we maximize our 4 days stay (April 30-May 3, 2012) at PP? We are 4 in our group and want to do the following from the day we arrive till the day we depart. Arriving at 9:20 a.m. on day one, can we still rent a boat to do the island hopping even if it's quite late already? say 10:30 a.m.? Day 2--Underground River tour. Day 3--Dos Palmas Day tour. Day 4--city tour. We have already booked our hotel at Hotel Centro but have not made any booking on tours. Do we have to book ahead for Underground river tour and Dos Palmas Day trip? Hi VTguys! I've heard a lot of good reviews regarding this restaurant, they all say that your stay in puerto wont be complete w/o visiting KA LUI. So we're planning on eating there on our vacation to palawan, But i have some concerns, all reviews & pictures ive seen about ka lui. No kids I see on potos ive seen. So I'm just wondering if they allow having kids in there. I have a 6 & 8 years boys. Any feedback will do..Thanks!!
Hello my VT friends,
Can anyone tell me a good hotel in Puerto Princesa based on your experience with them? Cleanliness, friendly staff, accessible to the city. I used to stay in Puerto Pension but is there any other pension house as good? I will appreciate your help.
Hello guys! Can you help me out where to go in PP??
We just bought our plane tickets.. Our trip is schedule on March 9-12
8:45 am leaving 4:50pm
I've narrowed down the possible pension to stay..
1. casa linda 2. de loro 3. puerto pension.
a/c hot shower cable tv can do,free wifi a must,breakfast..
budget for our accommodation 600-1000 since we are only students and on a tight budget! or can you send me the tri drivers/boatmen?? Or what pension can you suggest for us?? I just want things in order before we leave..
I think that the travel agency will really costs us a lot..
This are the possible trips that we want:
1. Underground River- number for the boatmen?
2. Honda Bay- contact number?
3. Dos Palmas- is this worth the trip?
4. Day trip- or we just hire a driver or commute??
Thank you very much! Comments and Suggestions are highly appreciated!
it will be an unplanned visit in puerto princesa...
suddenly, we wanted to visit this place from sept 25-29..
please help us enjoy this ambush visit...
1. where is the BEST and CHEAPEST hotel o stay? how much is the room rate.. we are 4 females...
2.how much is the regular RATE for cars, jeepneys, tricycle or pedicabs...we'd rather commute than hire cars...
3.what are the a MUST-visit places ( church, park, resto)
4.a MUST-take-a-picture landmark in puerto princesa
5.regular price for clothes and souvenirs...
What would be a better choice, going to dos palmas (day tour) or island hopping at honda bay? thanks, again.
Can you suggest on whom to get in touch with for the PP city tour as well as the underground river tour? Thanks
My friends and I (early 20's) would like to have a nightout:
* a good cup of coffee over intellectually stimulating conversations
* a food culinary trip among puerto's finest strip of restos
* a long walk with good and decent company
* meet new friends
Anyone who cares to join us, leave me a message.
Hi. If we do the honda bay tour by ourselves (there are only 2 of us), can we rent the boat to ourselves only? Is it still 1,000 per boat?
Still debating it we should take the packaged tour or not.
My husband & I are planning to visit PP this March. Which accomodation can you recommend? I was first interested in Niko's but hearing that it is too far away from the market or center of things (having to spend P300 for shuttle service back & forth) made me look at other nice possible places to stay. Hopefully it will have TV, hot showers & of course near good restos & areas to shop.
Thanks in advance for your help!
we will be arriving on the 5th of march 1130 am in puerto princesa..and departing lunch time on the 7th..my friend and i wanted to maximize our stay so we can visit the underground river and honda bay.. is it possible to have a half day honda bay tour on the 5th ? so we can take the underground river on the 6th? how long is the boat ride from the underground river to the tubataha reef? is that possible.?..
hope u could help us..
Do you know if there are cottages in PP? A 2-3 room family cottage with kitchen, and where cooking is allowed?
I am planning to take a trip to Puerto Princesa and Coron/Busuanga. Does anyone know about the Catholic churches in the said places, and the schedule of masses?
We're booked to go to PPC next week and we're looking for a place to stay for 14 days. Do you know of any apartelle/vacation house that offers weekly rates? Thanks and looking forward to any helpful tips.
Help lang po... my family is visiting PP this Nov 6-9 and we still don't have a place to stay.
We are torn between Royal Oberoi and Liberty Park Pension.
We like Royal Oberoi because they seem to have a good tour package. We will be paying 7,000++ per pax for a 4D/3N stay with full board meals and the usual City, Honda Bay and Underground River Tour. Plus they have a BIG pool which my sister and I totally love. But then it seems it is quite far from the city and going out at night will be too big a hassle.
On the other hand, we seem to also consider Liberty Park Pension because of the great reviews on their food. They also have a pool ata but not as big as the Royal Oberoi's. We still don't know how much is their package but judging from the rate they posted on their website, it kinds of fit our budget.
Which do you think is more worth it?
We just want a place near the city so we can maximize the place and is also worth our money... Thanks in advance... :)
can you please give us suggestion, because we are planning to have our 2nd honeymoon in palawan this summer and its our 1st time to go there. we just want to relax and feel the ambiance of the nature. we need cheap (because the budget is tight) tour package that include honda bay and underground tour etc... we want to experience that... thank you!
Hello guys! Does anybody have comments about De Loro Inn? It was recommended to me by a friend. Another recommendation was the Puerto. Which of the two will be better for us? Will be going to PP last week of August and I need to make reservations ASAP for 3 people. I would prefer hotel/inn with AC, standby generator, clean bathrooms and the usual toiletries. Also, which inn is nearer the city proper? thanks in advance. look forward to our trip
Hi all, we are travelling from Manila to Puerto Princesa and we had planned on going from PP to Coron the same day. It seems it will not be as easy as we had originally planned.
Can you offer me any advice on what the best option is to get from PP to Coron? Otherwise we will be staying in PP for several days to wait for the Super Ferry.
Are there any options to fly from PP to Coron town?
Do you know direction for Salakot Waterfalls? Is it just near Puerto Princesa city?
I saw it posted it VisitPuertoPrincesa.com.
