Does anyone know of a hotel or bead and breakfast at Cumbaya. My wife and me are planing to stay there at the end of August/08 (4 nights)
So far were not able to find anything in the net.
Any information will be much appreciated, thanks.
I am thinking about going out to the Sant Lucia reserve in the cloudforest in the Pichincha region for a few weeks in december, to volunteer on a conservation/re-forestation project. I was wondering if anyone has been to this area during december and if so...does it rain the whole time? There seems little point in going if it will be pouring with rain and covered in mist the entire time, and maybe more beneficial to go at a time when the weather is better for working...can anyone advise here? Also, what are the temperatures like during december? Cheers,

How did you pay for your Galapagos travel from overseas?
We have booked Galapagos cruise & domestic flight in November with an Ecuadorian travel agency and been required a full payment. Usually, we’d pay by Credit Card, but this time, things appear to be a bit tricky…
According to the agency, there are payment methods are: (1) Bank transfer to the agency’s US bank account; (2) Personal Check to a US address; (3) Paypal – 4% surcharge of total pay; (4) Credit Card payment at their Ecuador office – 10% fee
Would paying by Paypal or Credit Card with an extra fee decrease our risk in the case something goes wrong? Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
I'd love to talk to someone who's been to my favorite place on the planet, Tinalandia. If you've been there, please e-mail me at [email] Thanks!
