I would be moving to Tanger soon.Just wanted to know the average monthly cost of rent close to the city centre, not necessarily in the centre but close to it.What is the rental cost of a furnished studio and is it best to go through a proper estate agent or through the landlord directly?
Does anybody half sane know how fast it is possible to transfer by taxi from the new port of Tanger to the airport to catch a paris flight? Allowing for the mail order driving licenses, local goats, the local gendarme of the liquid law and the likelyhood of linguistic carnage, should this take more than one hour n a bad day?
Mr J. Bourne (of no fixed abode) says it can be done in 94 seconds by rooftop....
What is the best way to get from Tangier to Malaga airport in October on a please. This would be leaving Tangier on a Friday for a flight at 1320 Saturday. I seem to be having trouble finding the details.

Does anyone think it is possible to catch a ferry from Tarifa to Tangier and then a bus or train to Asilah, just for the day, returning at night? I'm not sure I want to spend the entire day in Tangier. I would like to see the peaceful side of Morocco, as well as the craziness of a port town overwrought with hustlers. :)
My bf and I are traveling into Morocco from Ceuta. We only have a day, maybe two for Morocco. Should we do Tangier or Tetouan? And why? Also, any hotel/hostal recommendations. We like old world, very CLEAN and Arabesque. Thanks!
I am planning a trip to azrou.. I already bought a flight to tanger and then I would like to take the train to Fès, there I would take a bus that will take me to azrou, the problem is that I can't find the way to go from the airport to the train station in Tanger, and neither I can find buses from Fès to azrou...could somebody help me please??

I plan to come to Tanger by ferry, walk arround for a day, and fly home. I wonder, is it is a long way from Tanger to the airport? What transport should i take? Thank you
I am going to Spain, and I would like to spend two or three days in Morocco. How difficult is it to catch a ferry from Tarifa or Algeciras to Tanger? I mean, without previous reservations. Are there many lines making the crossing? Are there many departures and arrivals?
I heard that at times it can be a "bottleneck", is that true?

Does anyone know about a helicopter from Tangiers to Gibraltar?
Next June (2007) myself and my family will be staying in Gibraltar for two weeks. During our stay i have suggested popping over to Morroco, seen as it is so close. My question relates to the boat trip to Tanger...ive found a boat trip that goes from Gibraltar to Tanger, with a visit to the ancient market souks and a ride on a camel (plus lunch), and comes back later that day however different travel brochures quote different prices for seemingly the same tour..My Question is has anyone took this trip from Gibraltar to Tanger, what did the tour include and what did it cost? Plus are there different tours?
Im don't really want to go from Algeciras to Tanger as i was hoping that the view from taking a boat trip from Gibrlatar would be spectacular, and im a bit of a photograph enthusiast (i can imagine seeing the Rock fading into the distance).
I hope someone out there can help me...thank you in advance to anyone who can.
my daughter (18) and I are going to spain for vacation .We would like to go to tangier with the ferry. Is it safe for 2 women to visit tangier as I heard so mnay bad thing about it ?Which place shoul we avoid for safety reasons?

I will be vacationing in Gibraltar for a week beginning 28th October. An obvious thing for me to do,is have a visit to Morocco.
I have heard some bad things about Tangier which would be the easiest city to visit, however Asilah seems to get a better press.
Q1 assuming I didn,t take a hire car,how easy is it to get to Asilah from Tangier.
Q2 Would weather at this time be reasonable, bearing in mind I am used to cold/wet British/Irish weather.
Q3 Recomendations for hotels in Asilah.
Q4 Must see/do locations/activities in Asilah
Q5 Pardon my ignorance of your customs.....but are there bars, availability of alcohol/beer etc
I will have my 15 yr old daughter with me,so activities for teenagers would also be good.
Sorry for so many questions, but thanks in advance
