Hi, my husband and I are planning to go to Karpathos (Sep 2010) and discover every little beach and corner. Can you suggest me where it is more covenient to overnight (Picadia?) and which are the unmissable things to do/to see there? Many thanks in advance
Can anyone tell me what you see from the ferries as they go from one island to another. Do you actually get to see the various islands from the ferry or are the distances so great you only get to see sea. Thinking of going from Rhodes to Kos and perhaps Samos.
I'll be staying in Rhodes for 5 nights and I'm consideringa day trip to Lindos... Is it a good sight to visit? Should I consider doing while in Rhodes? Suggestions?
How is the weather in March or April?
We will be taking the ferry from Athens to Rhodes... and would like to stop at one or two islands along the way. Which is the best.. would it be better to stay three night on one island or island hop.
And what is the best way to get from Rhodes to Cyprus?
Can anybody tell me something about Carina hotel? Is it very bad?
Is night life good in Rodos?
I will be there by the end of august. I read a lot about the hotel and it seems to be ok, but I am worried about the beach and the wind that blows in the area. Please help me with more informations and maybe some pictures. Thanks in advance.
We are three couples and one single person in our late 50's. We were looking for a hotel in the Old Town but they all seem to be a bit more than we want to pay. Then we started to look outside the Old Town but I simply cannot figure out which hotels are within walking distance of the Olde Town. They might say "in the middle of Rhodes town" but that means very little to me since I have no idea of the relationship between New and Old Rhodes.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to the hotels? We do not need a hotel on the beach and it does not have to be a 10 storey modern hotel with all kinds of amenities. What we are looking for is a very clean hotel with rooms which include bathrooms, and maybe some character. We do not plan to spend much time in the rooms. Our plan is to spend the nights of September 16, 17 and 18th in Rhodes. Would love to pay under100.00. Thank you very much for your help.

Does anyone know if the venerable old workhorse is still running and if so what routes she's covering now? It seems from the Greek Travel Pages that she's only going up the line from Kalymnos and no longer does the Kalymnos, Kos, Nissyros, Tilos, Rhodes, Kastellorizo route. Apart from the affection that I bear the old tub, I was hoping to use her in October 2005 to go to Kastellorizo again..... Any info gratefully appreciated
