In september i want to do a full circuit of Lake Ohrid on public transport,so I need to know more about buses and trains around Pogradec.Anyone with any ideas please/
Public transpot in AL is somewhat scatchy...
There is boat from Ohrid Marina to podgradec twice daily starting at 9.00 am and another at 18.00 pm staring from June first and going til September 10th.
Take bus to Trpejca village/Sv Naum and cross on foot .
Usually there are furgons waiting on the AL border to take you to podgradec. From there you can do dome day trips and look for furgon via Quafasan to Struga and than Ohrid.
Albanian furgons same as the luage in Tunisia leaves when is full. So no traditional timetables as we know them.
Thanks that was very informative
Is it right you have to pay 10 euro to cross into Albania?
€10 Euro Visa was abandoned GEW yrs ago... Just passport...
thats great thank you
My plan at the moment is to get a bus to Sveti Naum from Ohrid at midday, walk across the border and get into Pogradeci, then return to Ohrid on the last bus of the day.
Will this work?
