Cheapest Way to fly to Perth from London

Hi

I'm really hoping to be able to visit my sister and her family to introduce them to our 2 year old son in January 2014. They live in Perth, so am really trying to find the cheapest way/route to fly from London to Perth if anyone has any ideas?

Thanks!

Check out Air Asia, Emirates, Qantas, and China Southern airlines - use Google search. Also try webjet

All the airlines have websites so I,d do a dummy booking and see your prices. Your route will probably be Uk - Asia - Perth so perhaps focus on the Asian airlines. Singapore Airlines is very good, I have flown with them a nuber of times. MAS (Malasian) is recommended too. Alternatively fly to Singapore or Hong Kong with a well known Airline then change for the flight to Perth.

Check www.skyscanner.com and then click flexible and you will get prices for each day of the month. In April you can go for £719 return which i find is a very good price.

i just had a look at Skyscanner and Malaysian do have flights via Kuala Lumpar at a reasonable price. However the dates you need are not visible yet, up until december is there. So in a month you will be able to get a good idea.

There is never one single way to find the cheapest ticket. All airlines that service this route come up with specials on a regular base. Most times it is just hitting the right moment. You should always check their fares across a certain time period and not only for a specific day. The fares can differ dramatically on two consecutive days. If you are just a little flexible you can save huge amounts of money.

I believe Qantas have an Aussie Pass if purchased overseas, includes several domestic flights. Do not know if they still do it but it was on a few years ago.

You need to be flexible and investigate changing carriers on the way.
I would look at getting the cheapest flight you can from London to Singapore and then getting Jetstar from Singapore to Perth (this may depend on how much luggage you want to take as Jetstar are a low cost little baggage airline).

Or to KL and then Air Asia.
