We will be in Cadiz at the end of August. Being passionate about animals, we were about to make reservation for a 3 hours tour of the Guadalquivir and Donana reserve on board the Real Fernando, when we decided we weren't sure of wanting to do it anymore. We thought we might witness a lot of animals and birds, but keeping in mind this will be the end of the hot August month, we doubt many animals are subject to roam around a lot, and we also heard a lot of the bird colonies come only in the winter. Our question is... should we or not take the boat tour? Is it really worth it? Are there other options for seeing animals in the region?
