metro / bus

Thank you for your information regarding the metro from gare du nord to argentine. would it be easier and or more pleasent to travel by bus ? if so, what number bus would i need to take from gare du nord, and where is the bus stop situated please. we are so looking forward to our trip, so any help you can give would be appreciated.

I am glad the previous information was helpful..

If you look at the ratp routeplanner again:

ratp.fr/itineraires/en/ratp/...

you will see that you can search for your route choosing 'bus, tramway' only.

You can take bus (sometimes two buses, depending on departure time) for most of the journey, but you will need to walk at the beginning and the end. The routeplanner will even give you details of how to get to the bus stop if you click 'see detail' under the small walking figure.

Whether the bus would be more pleasant depends very much on the time of day you are travelling. If you have large bags I'd generally advise against using a bus simply because of the hassle of handling bags on a potentially crowded vehicle.
