Hi, All! My boyfriend and I will be travelling to the Philippines at the end of January 2016 for a few weeks. I've been doing a lot of reading and researching to create the best itinerary given our time constraints (there's so much to do in the Philippines!).
Something that caught my eye were the opportunities to see whale sharks in Oslob and Donsol. However, after much researching on Donsol, it seems we are more likely to see whale sharks in Oslob than in Donsol, particularly given when we're travelling. Is this correct? How likely are we to see whale sharks in Oslob? We would be going to Oslob just to see the whale sharks, so if we're not in the right season, I don't really want to make a trip out of it.
I know it's all up to luck on whether we will see whale sharks as they are creatures of the wild, but I thought I read somewhere that whale shark sightings in Oslob are very likely at any time of the year because the local fishermen feed the whale sharks. Is this true?
Thank you in advance!
I'm going to Philippines shortly and I have to know how to get (via boat of coz & in the morning) from Panglao to Oslob to swim with white sharks and then catch the bus (any timetable?) to Cebu afternoon / in the evening? All of these during one day.
Thanks for help!
