I will be going to Vancouver, BC in a month or two for just a few days. What would be something that I should do that is so special about Vancouver. I'm not in Museum etc. Prefer sigh seeing, walk around chinatown etc. Would love to have a tour guide that live around Vancouver Downtown.
You should go to see and walk over Capilano Bridge and then ride up the Grouse mountain. Walk around Stanley Park. Shop down at Gass Town. Canada Place is where you will find big ships going to Alaska. Have fun!
What VT tips have you look at yet?
Ann, I hope you're copying & pasting this information to the same old question that seems to appear every week or so!!! Robert P.S. You have more patience than I do!
thank you for taking your time to replay my email. Now I get a better idea what I will be going,. thanks.
Some local things I enjoy:
Watching the 9 o'clock cannon fire nightly in Stanley Park. The view of the city from there is awesome as well.
Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge (it's free).
Walk Robson Street end to end, and drop into Pacific Centre Mall at the same time.
Depending when you arrive, the open air skating rink near the museum is busy but fun.
If you catch some sun, walk around English Bay and check out Science World as well.
