I am a Singaporean. Lived and bred in Singapore, a modern city. I am thinking of visiting and staying in a a true Malay kampung, run through the paddy fields, go to the kampung mosques, eat nasi lemak kampung style and many more. Any kelantanese can help me?
I searched Virtual Tourist Kelantan's website and I clicked on various kampungs, but not much information was available.
In short, I want something like a homestay. Any tips?

I advise you to choose The Kubang Telaga Homestay at Bachok, Kelantan. You can run through the paddy field, swimming and catch fishes in the river, eat original nasi lemak. Also can try to plant paddy by your self. Here we use buffalo.Eat fried fish behind river bank. All of that you can make by your self.
