Hi there :),
I have a question regarding the transportation in Damascus.
I will arrive to Damascus at night - 2.30 am (24th Dec). I would like to manage to take the bus to Amman which I understand should leave Damascus at around 7am.
Do you know:
i) How can I get from the airport to the bus station? I understand there should be some night buses right?
ii) What is the name of the bus station serving buses to Amman?
iii) Will I be able to get a seat without reservation?
iv) Are there more buses to Amman than the morning one?
v) Will the bus be in service on 24th of December?
Thanks a lot for tips!
Hi - A friend and I are traveling to Damascus soon and would like to stay somewhere affordable, but that has some character, is clean, and is conveniently located. Can anyone recommend a pension, guesthouse, or similar accommodation? Many thanks!
I just arrived in Damascus and will be here until the end of August. I am looking to rent a furnished apartment for the next three months. I was hoping to pay under400--I'm a graduate student and don't have too much funds available. I will be working in Al-Mazzah region so preferably an area close-by or with easy access to that area.
Thanks in advance for your help!
