Calling anyone interested in strke/child abuse/brain injury

will be arrviing Montevideo next week - unfortunately only for one day (boat sails). Am researcher/therapist in brain injury diagnosis and rehabilitation. Have worked for 5-7 years with a number of universities and medical schools (in US, Europe and Central Asia/Russia) on helping this very large and relatively unrecognized group. According to the CDC (Atlanta, GA USA) statistics in the US this group outnumbers HIV/AIDS, Multiple Schrosis and breast cancer COMBINED. It is felt by most of the doctors I have worked with that this is true in most countries. I was hoping to perhaps make initial contact with people in Uruguay that have an interest in sharing information about BI. However, my Internet research has come up with nothing - no specialists, hospitals or suppot groups. This must be an oversight in the search engine and I am asking any of you who might have ideas of people who might be interested in talking or emailing. I am Secretary of the Texas Brain Injury Association and Vice President Operations of a Christian International Aid Organizations specializing in helping brain injury and child abuse groups. You can use VT or email me at Thanks and best of luck to all of you. God bless. Robert
