We did this trip last year and this is the order in which we visited.
Udupi(on the way we visited a Mata temple which is famous, I cannot remember the name now, night halt at Manipal university area, next morning we drove towards kollur and covered anagudi, murudeshwar, mookambika:night halt at kollur mookambika;next day drove to sringeri, took a room in sringeri and freshened up,had lunch, then went to annapoorna temple at hornad, then came back to sringeri night halt;then went to dharmasthala and had dharshan and had a halt there.then next day we went to kukke subramanya and from there drove down to Manglaore and back home from there.
The whole drive is beautiful, but roads to kollur are not so good, very narrow and better to go there before dark.Even the road to Murudeshwar is not good. Murudeshwar is so amazing.
We also visited a small Jain park in Dharmasthala.
The accomodation in all these places is not so great.Home stays are better than lodges. You just need to ask around and check. No proper accomodation.Better to eat in the temples.Especially in Udupi and Dharmasthala. In sringeri the mutt food is great, but you will also find clean restaurants in Sringeri.Better to carry fruits for the way. Hornad Annapoorna Temple also you get good food.Subramanya you will find places to eat buy usually very crowded.
The temples are so beautiful and the drive is great,so have a good trip,
