Malta

Where to stay in November?

We are staying for 2 nights Fri 28 - Sun 30 November.

We like snorkelling if it'll be warm enough (with a wetsuit), we like walking, culture, nice seafood restaurants, and generally staying away from too many tourists and tourist trap restaurants ;o)

We will be dependent on the bus to get to and from the airport and to get around so somewhere without good bus connections is out of the question.

Not fussed about nightlife but would like to find nice restaurants easily.

Please help as we need to book asap!

Thanks in advance
Amber

From the airport buses run between 5h30 and 20h30.In towns they run untill 22h30 sometimes later. Many Lybia citizens travel to malta , so it will be easy to find halal restaurants. Many turkish own halal fast food.

I like to stay in Sliema the buses are very good and you can get to Valletta quickly and easily the restaurants are plentyfull and in winter it isn't very touristy. I know there is a diving centre in Sliema over the road from the Preluna next to tgi fridays.
If you like walking and culture you will love Valletta. I hope I have been some help if you want to ask me anything please don't hesitate. Ian.

You will be very busy for those 2 nights.
The end of November will still be good for swimming but the air-temperature could be chilly.

The island is small so nowhere is far from a bus.
I find Marsaxlokk a perfect place to stay if it is quiet one wants.
The city is only 30 minutes by bus away.

Excellent resturants abound.
Culture to me is the people.
You might like to read a book for help on the island's past.

Walking around the southern part of the island is a beautiful thing.

Try Duncan's Guesthouse.
Tell Michael, Ray from Zejtun sent you :o)
