Any festivals in Lagos, Portugal in the late May ?
Hi. I will be in Faro and Portugal for first time since 30.11 till 3.12. I would like to visit Algarve probably on Friday 2nd December. I was thinking to take morning train to Lagoa, and then bus to Carvoeiro. (I think I will be in Carvoeiro before 11am according to buses). I wanted to do daylight walk along the coast from algar seco, through benagil, and praia marinha. Because I don't have idea about distances, how far it is , and could I continue my walk yet further to see another beaches too? Do I have to return to lagoa or can I take return bus/train from yet another town to come back to faro? Maybe anyone of you are going to have a walk that day too?
We are traveling to Lagos in end of December and now looking for fun things to do/see to keep the children activated and happy. Our children is 4, 8 and 16 yrs old.
I'm planning to visit Lagos in December. I'm travelling alone and I don't go out to night clubs or bars.
I want to go to Lagos and Algarve just to see the beautiful scenery. Now i'm wondering if 5 days might be too much?
I know it can be quite chilly and rainy so I can't just spend the days laying on the beach.
I won't have a car, I will walk and take the bus so I believe I will be kinda limited regarding how far away from the center I can go.
What do you think? Will I get bored?
Is one more spectacular then the other. ? I'll only have chance to do one .
Trying to decide between the two areas. Are is the view any more spectacular with one versus the other. ?I only will have a chance to do one.
Is there a service that will drop you off in the Benagil Sea Cave to allow for photography?
I realize there are many tours that go into the cave(s) but im looking to stay for an hour or so.
Thanks for your help

Hello there !
Me and a friend will be in Lagos for 10 days in may ( from the 2 to the 12 of may )
we speak french and english ( and even some russian lol )
and we want to meet some people who are pretty good at surf because we are not !
my friend is a complet beginner and I learn to surf many years ago ( when I was 23 years old and I am now 29..) but I think I have to start again from the beginning ( I have surf in a Malibu board so no short board )
I think we will rent some materials directly in Lagos but only if we find some nice people who agree lead us a little bit in exchange of some great drinks at night or even invit you in restaurant few times :)
We do not have enough money to take some surf lessons and I have to admit I really hate to be in a group to learn surfing its not friendly to be with school I prefer to be with real people who dont looking for business but just to have fun looking/laughing at us falling and failing in our boards ahhahah ^^
We will stay in the hotel Quinta dos cariacos from 2th may to 12th may.
let us know if there is someone here who could be okay to do that with us :)
Is it safe for women to walk alone in evening or drive from Lagos to another city at night? Would you recomend to buy Villa in Lagos or where would you say is a good investment in Portugal to stay?
Looking for advice on villas which are withing walking distance of Lagos town. A 15 to 20 minute walk maximum. Any advice on areas to look at or avoid please.
Hi I am just wondering if Nerja in Spain would be hot in October, I was hoping to book a week there commencing on 11th Oct but am worried the weather might not be nice. Is there anyone out there that visits Nerja in October that could give me some info on what weather be like. Thanks.
Hi I want to book a holiday to Lagos in mid October, but I am afraid the weather wont be good at that time of year & we are both sun worshippers. Has anyone else being in mid October that can tell me whether or not it would still be warm.
Hi there.... Im getting married next year, and as Im 43, I have quite a large group of very well behaved, middle class men who want to come on a stag weekend away. I love Portugal but have only been to Vilamoura and Albufiera before. so thinking of coming over to Lagos.
But... I know big groups can put off others..which i don't want to do! So would it be a good idea...and will there be sun in April?
Hi, I'm planning a stag weekend for 8 guys in Lagos in July this year. Is there any hotels you can recommend that cater more towards these kinds of groups?
My partner and I are seeking cheap accommodation around 3 week in July in Lagos. Is there a local website I can search?
I was wondering if any of the boat trips from Lagos to Sagres lets you stop in Sagres for a stroll / lunch / coffee? Thanks.

Where is a good location to stay in Lagos. We want beach and party!
I am visiting Lagos next month. I know there is some free car parking but if I need to park on Avenida dos Descombrimentos, how much is the pay and display car parking. Thanks.
What are good places to party in Lagos for people 30+? Seems like there are a lot of traditional small bars that attract a younger crowd.
Can I get a bus from Lagos to Praia da Rocha
I'm going to Lagos on the 19th of September for a week and am just wondering whether the bars and clubs
Are all still open and whether they are busy? If anyone has being around this time of year I would be grateful If you could let me know!! Thanks :)
I'm thinking of taking a trip with two of my friends to Lagos in September. We're in our mid-twenties and would be going for the beach scene and night life. My only concerns are:
1) the weather - will it still be nice in early September (6th - 15th)?
2) the atmosphere - will there still be people our age visiting/partying?
If you've been there during this time of year, please shed some insight - it would be much appreciated.
I'm considering going to Lagos on my own and hope to use buses to get around. Just wondering if this is a good way to travel and if so the best places to visit in easily commutable distance. Any other tips would be most welcome, thanks :o)
I was in Lagos last Easter and noticed it was that lively at night and I'm planning a stag party there in mid to late June and wondered if this was a busy time of year and if all of the Bars/Clubs would be open?
I'm about to book a trip to the sunny Algarve. Lagos or Albufeira. It seems Lagos is not so crowded but more expensive. I'll book self catering. Pros and cons of both towns please.
I am thinking of going to Lagos the first week in October. Will it still be fairly busy then? I don't want to choose there and find out when I get there that all the bars and restaurants are dead at night!
Is Lagos or Tarifa the best place to stay in Andalucia if I am looking to stay in one of the older non condoized places along the coast? Any other cities to stay in would be welcome too. Thanks.
