We have one day in Kotor on 3rd October 2016 . Could anyone advise on what is best to see and do in one day please? Also, Is it possible to take a bus to Budva at all? Would this be worth it? Many thanks
Where can I catch an afternoon bus from Budva to Kotor? How frequent are they and what's the cost? And from Kotor, where can I catch a bus to Dubrovnik, and the same questions : how frequent are they and what's the cost?
We want to travel early July and at the moment can't find an easy route.
The bus and train via Capljina seems the logical way to go but it appears there is a 4h45 wait between the bus and the train which makes for a late arrival in Sarajevo.
Can any one suggest a better route using public transport please
hi,can anyone tell me if there is a bus from tivat airport to kotor???
Together with four friends I will be 15 days in Motenegro and Albania the first two weeks of July this summer. The plan is to start with four days somewhere around the Kotor Bay. We have been browsing air bnb and have found several places with private sun deck where we can jump directly into the water; looking very appealing to us.
But which of all the places around the bay should we choose to stay in? If we go for private sun deck we would like to have as much sun as possible on it, does this mean staying in the Perast area/northern bank of the bay? What about Risan and Prcanj; will these places be shadier?
Or is simply Kotor the place to choose because of its size and forget about the private sun decks?
Are the sceneries the same all over the bay or are there stretches being more beautiful than others? Closeness to restaurants and grocery stores is positive but not a need as we will have a car.
Thanks from Lena

We're going to Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia on October, arriving at Podgorica airport on October 18th. Another question: how much would we spend for renting a basic car for one or two days (getting it at Podgorica and returning at Kotor)?

Two of us will be in Kotor next May and are interested in going to Perast and taking a boat tour to the little islands. In addition we would like to see the country sights. So, we thought a personal guide for a few hours would be helpful.
Does any one have any recommendations? And if no guide, is there an easy way to go from Kotor to Perast? I understand that there are local buses, but do they run on a regular basis and can we easily get one going back to Kotor?
is it easy to get around kotor with a wheelchair, arriving on cruise ship
we are arriving on a cruise ship. How would we go about getting a taxi or some means of transportation or a small tour, to go to the national park on a day trip?
Travelling next week (w/c 7th Nov) from Dubrovnik to Kotor by bus. Have found conflicting info re bus availability - one site said only one bus a day at 10.30am and another said there were 3 buses a day!
Can anyone let me know which is correct for this time of year - also can you give me some idea of the likely return cost.
Me and my girlfriend went to Kotor a couple of years ago. And we found this beautiful church in the old town. Now I have popped the big question, and gotten yes. Juhu!! This church have now sprung into our minds as the perfect spot to get married. I know there are a lot of buts and ifs to get as far as that, especially since we are neither orthodox or catholics.
But the biggest issue now is that neither of us took a notice of the name of the little church. It was quite anonymous on the outside, and decorated with a lot of angels inside (more than usual). We think it was situated beside one of the small squares in the old town.
Can anyone help us with the name of the church form this vague description?
In advance thank for all help!
