We are getting together a large group for a 10 day stay early next year. All couples-most with kids. Since some of us have ended up caretaking at the hotel while the rest go to a bar, I was wondering if Mexico has an age restriction for minors to be in a bar/cantina. I don't drink, I just don't want to split up the group if we stop at a bar, especially the ones on the beaches during the daytime.
If we have to, I just want to be prepared.
I've never seen anybody, anywhere in Mexico have trouble with this in any sort of bar where people of both sexes are admitted.
A cantina is something else, women not invited, so probably not kids.
Open air places on beaches are generally also restaurants and open to families.
