How to get from Touville to Honfleur? Or possibly, best way from Bayeux to Honfleur?
Is it possible to take a boat on the Seine from Paris to Honfleur without taking a several-day cruise?
We will be arriving into Honfleur via Azamara Cruise Line on 9 Jun 16. We arrive at 0800 and depart at 2100. We are interested in touring the Normandy Beach area, ie, sites, cemetaries, and museums. The tours that we were able to find are rather expensive. Can anyone refer us to a more reasonably priced tour or a rental car company at or near the cruise port terminal for a day rate. Thank you.
Hi, Myself and a Friend are doing an 8 day cycle tour round france. I was cheaper t take the car and park in le harve than pay £80 parking in Portsmouth but I am now wondering if that will be safe and whether we should drive the short distance to honfluer which we planned to stop at and park there for the 8 days.. Does anyone have any experience of good places to park in honluer for longer than 24 hours , if it is safe and if not what le harve is like for parking (safe wise). Thanks in advance. Finding it really hard to find out!
How can we get from Deauville airport to Honfleur? Our flight lands at 20.20 on Saturday
I will be stopping in Le Havre for the day while on a cruise this Sept (the actual day we will be in port is Friday, Sept 4). I want to take a day trip via public bus to Honfleur, but I am having an extremely difficult time getting info on precisely how to do that. Every bus time table I can find online ends on August 31st and is only in French. My French is no where near good enough to figure it out, so I hope someone can help.
My basic questions are, 1) what is the approx cost each way, 2) how far is the nearest bus stop from the cruise ship port, 3) what are the names of the stops I need to know on the bus schedule (in other words, what is my stop name in each town where I will get on/off the bus) 4) what bus number do I take & 5) how often do they run on a weekday at that time of the year?
I really want to spend my time in this lovely town without having to be on a formal tour group.... and I don't want to take a taxi that I have to have sit and wait for me... I just want to walk around at my leisure and soak in the sights. Any guidance or suggestions would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks!
We will be in Honfleur and we're looking for tours of the D Day beaches with an English speaking guide. Thanks.
Me And my husband will be in Paris this June and we intend to do some day trips. One of them will be to Honfleur, we´ve been there some years ago and loved it. This time, we would like to sleep there one night not to rush back to Paris at the end of the day. Is it easy to find a bed and breakfast without reservation at this time? We would like to decide on the date of our day trips as we go, not compromising with it in advance. Thanks for your help.

We are taking the train from Paris to Deauville and then staying on Honfleur. I'm trying to find a car rental company at the train station that is open on Sundays. Any ideas?
Hi if we stay in Honfleur from Sept 13th until the 27th will it still be busy with tourists about and cafés and restaurants still open? We are a bit concerned as we have stayed in Northern France a different area before late season and it seemed the whole place was closing down, last year we travelled over the South side of France so as things would still be open, we don't expect it to be like July, but would like to still have choice of places to eat and drink and people watching to do?
Thanks for the help

How many days / evenings would you suggest staying in Honfleur? We will not have a car and are currently planning on staying one full Sunday afternoon (coming from Paris) and a full day on Monday, leaving for Bayeux Tuesday morning. Is this too much time to take in Honfleur? We were looking for a quaint town to soak in some good food, wine and shops. TY!

I have to use an electric wheelchair to get around. How "wheelchair friendly" is Honfleur? Are there many cobbled streets?
Is it very hilly?
Are there plenty of reasonable drop-down kerbs for wheelchair users to cross the roads?
Do most popular buildings have wheelchair access?
Are there accessible toilets for wheelchair users?

If we take a train from Paris to Rouen, or even drive, how far is Honfleur from Rouen?
We are staying just outside Honfleur this summer and would like to visit Paris for the day and were hoping to travel by train, being the quickest and easiest. However, I have checked out Europe Rail but can't seem to find a direct route from Rouen, which I assume would be the closest main line station. Can anyone suggest a direct route to Paris that won't take hours, perhaps from another station please? Many thanks.
where can i find a running track around Honfleur where i could run in the evenings?
I'm living in Strasbourg and I would like to discover Normandy by visiting Honfleur for a couple of days. Could you please inform me on the train/bus timetables and itinareries to get there? Is there a low-cost pattern? Given that I'm 24, does buying the special card worth it?
Thank you in advance...
