I am planning to move... What is the weather, cost of living and employment like ? I appreciate anyones help.
I thought you were moving to Houston? Hollywood where? California,Florida??
not sure where to move yet.... trying to get an idea.
It is a BIG world out there. You must have some idea, because you mentioned three places..all losers.. in the scheme of things.
ok... looking for warmer climate, near the ocean... Since I'v e been in one state all my life, what kind of questions should I be asking... I'd really appreciate your help.
phildeni..........Houston is not a "loser place" as you state......if you don't have anything nice to say, you shouldn't say anything at all.
Take it easy Beth! I just happen to have my opinion.... and as a matter of fact, I think the whole of Texas is a loser. :O))
Let's face it folks....everyone has different tastes......what one may consider wonderful another would say is a dump.....we're just looking for objective facts about different areas......not subjective opinions.
I definately agree that everyone is entitled to their opinion no matter how ignorant it may be.......
Oops.... don't mean to cause trouble. I am honestly looking for opinions and ideas from people who live in those areas.
And yours is showing Beth!
HA.....maybe you should log off and go take a nap! Happy New Year to you, love, peace and happiness to all........
Ha! Maybe you should log off and get back on your medication. Please try to have a Happy New Year inspite of your bitterness.
So how are those survivalists doing up there Phil???????????????
In the hinter lands of the Northwest Phil.
It is beautiful, as always. Temps still in the low 50's here and even warmer at the coast. We need some rain. We are down about 7" from normal. The mountains (Cascades) are getting some good snow and hopefully it will continue up there so we will not have a water shortage in the summer. Our doctors and surgeons are not on strike and we have had no terrible winter weather and flooding, unlike a lot of other places. Thanks for asking.
I recommend San Francisco, its close to the ocean like you wanted and I think its a beautiful, fun city. There is tons to do and and lots of diversity in people. Thats my opinion.Good Luck!
