Heidelberg

Neckar Valley or Baden baden Wurtemburg tickets for travel.

Thanks everyone for your previous help.
Have now booked 1 week in Neckar Valley near Heidleberg and 1 week in Feiburg, can anyone advise if the above tickets are worthwhile and what they actually offer. Mentioned before we are Aussies and have no idea how useful they will be but has been suggested we purchase them.

Neckar Valley:
VGN 24 hours or 3-day tickets will be sufficient. Cheaper and now past 9am restriction on weekdays like the Baden-W├╝rttemberg Ticket (BWT).
vrn.de/mam/vrn/tickets/dokum...
Only if you travel to areas south of the VGN area a BWT will make sense.

Freiburg:
Directly in Freiburg or in ?
If not staying directly in Freiburg you may well get a KONUS card. Free public transport.
blackforest-tourism.com/konu...

These are all local public transport tickets, covering all means of local public transport inside their validity time and area. Covered are regional trains, S-Bahn, trams and buses. Not covered are long distance trains like IC/EC or ICE trains.
