Hi, we are planning a trip to Harbin, partly to learn more about family heritage!
We are trying to find out where my husband's mother was born. We have a name for the village in Russian script -
щучье, трехречье, харбин
and western script, it is Shuche ("Pike"), Three Rivers, Harbin
Obviously Harbin exists today as a large and thriving city but we'd love to know if the village itself still exists and if so what is its name in Chinese? And how to get there from Harbin? Also does anyone know if the Evangelical Lutheran church is still there? If anyone can help I would be most grateful! Thanks
Just updating - it seems the forum will not display the Russian script for the village name, soory! But the English version is Shuche ("Pike"), Three Rivers, Harbin. Thanks again
