don't suppose anyone's driving to Washington DC on Friday afternoon/early evening? for me and my 15 year old daughter? Public transport seems to be a nightmare! Fiona-from-England

Greyhound isn't so nice but the train to DC isn't so bad. And it shouldn't take that long. I think the train goes to Philly then onto DC. It's an option.

thank you! have looked into it, it seems inordinately expensive and long! but maybe that's what I'll have to do...thanks.

hi, it turned out that Gettysburg College arranged all my transport for me - yes, public transport would have been a nightmare!
