Hi there, I have booked a Stag weekend in Düsseldorf. I want to make it the best I can for the Groom to be. I am looking for activities that will be fitting for the party.More importantly on how to book them as my understanding of the German language is limited.
There will be approx 12-15 going, in August.
The idea I had was something sporty/ adventurous for Friday, a VIP table at a club Saturday, then a chill out on the Rhine Sunday.
Thank you for the help in advance.

My daughter and I are visiting Germany in August. We are flying to Dusseldorf, but have purchased rail passes. Our main restriction is time. Is there anything we should make a point to see? Cities we can/should travel to? Thanks for any information!
In a similar vein to Travelfrosch's question below, I'm pondering the journey from Duesseldorf Flughafen to Aachen.
I know what train I will probably catch (1532) but there is a (very) slim possibility that I might manage the 1432. If I have an NRW ticket, which I can easily buy online, I don't have to buy a ticket for the Air Train from the terminal to Duesseldorf Flughafen railway station (ticket costs 2.50 euro, I think).
But if I buy a NRW ticket online for the 1532 and manage to get to the station in time to catch the 1432, can I use that ticket on that earlier train? I've had a look on DB and can't find anything relevant. I won't be buying an NRW dayticket, just an ordinary one-way fare.
In essence: is a single-journey NRW ticket departure-specific or can it be used on any equivalent train?
Thank you! :-)
How can I travel from Dusseldorf airport to Aachen and vice versa? How long would the journey be?
I will be travelling to Dusseldorf and Munich on business during 23 Feb through 26 Feb. I will have sometime to explore the city. I was wondering whether I should spend an extra day that I have in Dusseldoft or Munich. Any advise would be appreciated.

Hello, We are traveling to Dusseldorf and spending 3 days there and then not sure. We know that on the 25th we are going to fly to Rome. At first we were going to stay in Oberammergau for the next 6 days after Dusseldorf and then fly out of Munich to Rome. There are 5 of us and my daugter is 5 months pregnant. My wife wants to really visit the old german cities and shop and eat and stuff, my kids want to ski a couple days. not sure how close the ski resorts are to Oberammergau or is there somewhere better that might have both ski resorts and a airport so we wont have to travel so far to go to the airport. Any suggestions? Should I keep my current plans or maybe pick somewhere besides Oberammergau that has both ski resorts and a major airport 10-15 minutes away?

I'm going to Düsseldorf for a language course and will be there for a month. My course provides me an accomodations including breakfast and dinner. Therefore I think I won't spend too much money for meals except for the times I night out or miss them. I'm so willing to see places of interest like Kö, Museum Kunstpalace, Rheinturm, Schloss Benrath, etc. I may also travel the other cities like Dortmund, Köln, Essen. In addition, I'd like to buy some souvenirs.
How much money do you think i should take to make it for a month in Düsseldorf?
Thank you in advance.
How busy is Düsseldorf on a saturday morning (8:30) if you arrive by car and are looking for a parking spot on the streets around Graf-Adolf-Straße 41?
Friends, I need to go from Amsterdam Central Station to Düsseldorf Airport to take a plane that leaves at 13h40 (Lufthansa - till Munchen). My initial plan was taking an ICE train that arrives in Düsseldorf Hbf at 12h46, then taking the S11 till the Airport, after 17min of transfer time, arriving at 13h15 on the Dusseldorf Flughafen Terminal. This is what the webpage sugested. But I am worried about the time, cause I wonder that I need to arrive 30 minutes before the plane leaves. So, I tried to found some alternatives. For example: I can exit of the train in Duisburg Hbf, at 12h32, then, after 10min of transfer time, taking another train (RE) till Dusseldorf Flughafen Station, arriving at 12h49. The site mentions that there is a 4 min walk till Flughafen Bahnhof, than a 6min ride till Terminal C (with Schw-B). In this case, I'll arrive at 13h, earning precious 15 minutes. But I'm still worried abouth the time of printing tickets, conditions of this walking, etc... Another way that I imagine was taking a taxi from Duisburg Hbf (12h32) or Düsseldorf Hbf (12h46), but I don't know the conditions of the routes and I'm worried about the traffic at launch time. But I discovered that the taxis can arrive till the entrance of Terminal... So, WHAT CAN I DO? Please, don't say that is impossible... This answer is not valid...kkkkk. Greetings from Brazil.
