Hi fellow travelers,
Has the new Denizli bus terminal/station been completed? If not, where are all the out of state buses stopping? What area?
Thanks for your help.
I hope this map help you
I was there 2 weeks ago .Not yet completed but they built a good temporary one. One can buy a ticket near the bus, from the driver (or at any representative of Pamukalle or other bus company.) and the transfer to the buses going to Pamukkale are just across the parking lot. All very easy.
Hi [VT member 1564ba],
Thanks, good to hear. Where was the bus stop located? Was there any landmarks or hotels around? Did you stay in Denizli?
The intercity bus station is located at one far end of the city. I arrived from Antalya, changed into a minibus heading for Pamukkale. No longer recommend it. Next day I returned to Denizli (the minibuses drop you there) and it was easy to hop onto the next bus leaving for Izmir. Denizli itself is not interesting, but the surroundings villages are very nice and the landscape is beautiful. Have a good trip.
