Ah, I can understand that you are confused.

The fleamarket on Nov 27 is regular.

On Sunday Nov 28 there will not be a fleamarket. But the shops will be open for Christmas shopping and St Nicholas shopping (Dec 5th).

Is it clear now?

I see now the confusion-I had a look at the delft.nl website.

The saturday antiques/book/bric-a-brac market along the canals is indeed only in summer.

However, the "normal" markets (food, clothes, flowers etc) are every thursday (central square-Markt) AND saturday (Brabantse Turfmarkt-Burgwal=close the Markt).

On the ENGLISH version of the delft.nl website, this saturday-"normal" market is NOT mentioned. On the DUTCH version though it IS mentioned.

Be assured that that saturday market, as I said in my first reply, is all-year round. I should know; after all I live in Delft, for some 40 years now.

On sunday 28 Nov. indeed shops may open on that particular sunday to allow the public to do their shopping for the Saint Nicolas event (5th December). Normally most shops are closed on sundays, except for the souvenir shops on the Markt.

I hope this clarifies some.
