I`ve been to Barcelona already, but never in winter time. We are going in Febuary to Barcelona for 6 days. Any suggestion in the city or maybe day trips that we could do by car? thanks
My friend is going to Catalunya with 7 (!) friends from work, and they have flights to Barcelona. But her friends really want to visit Andorra. So where to stay? They were thinking of Girona, but couln´t find big enough apartment they like in there. And they would also like to go t beach if possible. They don´t want to rent a car, since there is so many of them. Any suggestions where to search the apartment in this situation. I was told not to visit Andorra, when we were in Girona, since there is not so much to see, but they want to go shopping there, and they don´t want to leave that trip out of their plans.
I am planning a 10 days road trip in the area between Barcelona, Valencia and Zaragoza. I am interested in history, architecture, scenery, nice beaches. Since we will travel by car I would like to take the opportunity to see places that are somewhat outside the beaten track.
Are there anyone out there who has any advices or suggestions of where to go and to stay?
Just wondering if there is a walking path between these two and also whether there is a bus service (for the return !)
we are arriving at barcelona the 9th of september at 11:30.
we want to trek in the pyrenees for 3-4 days and then we have until the evening of the 18th.
My questions are:
1. Do we have another option from the airport other than to rent a car in order to get to espot or another spot where we can start the trek ? we want to use the afternoon to get there so we can start the trek following morning.
2. Do you have any advice for a not too hard but good 3 night/4days trek where we can sleep in cabins along the way? do we need to book in advance for the cabins or is it off-season and you can just arrive? can we leave some stuff in espot? and how do we reach Barcelona from the end point?
3. Following the trek we are going to Barcelona for 5-6 days, should we use that just to enjoy the city or is there somewhere close by we have to see?
Thanks a lot in advance!!
I have 5 years old travel magazine in front of me saying, you can´t visit here, in case you don´t have a group of 8 people. When I visit the web page, I only find info that i must book advice, but nothing about needing to get a group of 8. Is it needed, does anyone know? Or understand this better :)

Hi. We (2 Adults & 3 Kids) were hoping to spend 2 weeks in June in this Camping Resort.
Can anyone tell me if their entertainment programme runs in June? On their website it says high season, which opens on 20th June. We'll be gone by then.
Also, we hope to visit Port Adventura & Barcelona, while there. Is public transport an option?

Our family will spend 5 days in Playa de Aro in July and our sons would like to do some windsurfing. The 18 y.o. made a one week course 2 years ago and the 11 y.o. has no experience. I tried google search but didn’t find a place that offers courses or rental. Only WindConcept but their website doesn’t exist anymore.
Thanks for your helps.
In July we will spend some days in Puigcerdà and then I will have to go to L’Escala. One possibility would be to go with my husband by car to Perpignan and then back to Spain by train. Or is there a possibility to go to L’Escala without going via Barcelona directly from Puigcerdà?
Thanks for your helps
After a week on Canal du Midi in France and some days at the beach in Platja d’Aro (my husband used to spend there with his family 35 years ago the holidays) our family with two sons (11 and 18) would like to see some of the Pireneos before dropping of the car in Narbonne again.
We were looking for a hotel to spend one or two nights at Puigcerdà, doing some easy hiking.
Further I am looking for a place to stay with my younger son for some days at Costa Brava, where we can move without car and it should be possiblities for him to learn to wind surf or some other activities. Any idea?
Thanks in advance
Gracias de antemano

I'll be travelling to Barcelona in July for work related reasons. However I have to been to Barcelona twice before and would like to go someplace else this time. I can travel pretty much everywhere in Catalunya and I'm also considering Montpellier's and Marseille's region, as well as Andorra. What would you recommend?
Hi. We are interested in spending a week walking in the Catalunyan countryside early in March. The idea of walking in the area where Cava is made - the Penedes - has some appeal. Does anyone know if the walking is good there, and also does anyone have any ideas about finding holiday apartments in the area?
Do trains run from Ripoll to Barcelona on Sundays and if so what are the times. I wish to travel on Sunday 19th December 2010 to arrive in Barcelona no later than 13.00
We have 3 days in Catalunya, with a car, any advice where is the best to go? We start from Barcelona and we must be back to Barcelona.
We are going to Spain in June, and will be in Catalunya by the 23/24th June. I'm trying to find out when the San Juan celebrations are, but it seems to vary (Alicante 24th June, Barcelona 23rd June, etc). Could someone tell me where would be a good place to have a fun San Juan, given that we will be somewhere Valencia or north of there (but not as far as Barcelona) on the 23rd/24th. Thanks!
I will be going on holiday to Catolonian Pyrenes. I will be lending in Girona airport and will be hiring a car from Avis or Hertz. I would like to know if its possible to enter France with the hired car.
Which places are worth visiting on our way to the France Pyrenes area. Would you suggest any beautiful areas to stop for a short visit, example valleys or any villages worth seeing. Does any one know any b&b's where we can stay on our way?
I'll be in Barcelona in late June and would like to do a side-trip to the Pyrenees, spending about 3 nights in a town and soaking up the scenery. I'd really like to go somewhere near Monte Perdido, but it needs to be reasonably easily accessible via public transport from Barcelona as I won't be driving. Does anyone have any suggestions for what towns might be nice to stay in?
Does anyone know if there is a bus/coach service linking Barcelona to Palafrugell?
My daughter is planning her birthday in Barcelona on 16 October 2010 and we hope to meet up as a family after the celebration and are thinking of renting a villa sleeping say eight to ten people for a week say from the 20th October or thereabouts.
