We are hoping to go to Borneo late July/early August. We have come across Neilson Adventure (which I believe are part of Thomson (??)). Has anyone come across them before and are they good or have you had problems? On the other hand can you particularly recommend a better company?
Can't help with most of your post but the company is part of Thomas Cook, not Thomson:
so should be reliable enough.
why should you pay higher?
get a bargain for a flight to KualaLumpur or KotaKinabalu or Singapore then get a local Operator, the same ones used by Thomson.
First time I've been to Borneo I used wildlife-expeditions.com
I did 7D/6N Wildlife tour of Borneo, actually in reverse the it's the program, bu it does not change, they are very good indeed, everything right, anytime always someone of them with me, they have also their own resorts, they own boats, they own buses/cars, ect.
