We (4 persons) will visit Bankok on April, 2013, we want to visit Bangkok landmark;Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Vimamek ,etc (1 full day) and Damnoen Sadhual (1/2 day). Please inform methe cost for those tour and suggest me goodTravel agent in Bangkok who provide this kind tour.
Your hotel in Bangkok will be able to provide these tours for you :)
There are many travel agents in Bangkok city and I have used so many different ones and have never been disappointed. So instead of steering you to some difficult address to find, I would look around the hotel that you are staying at that looks busy and have a official Thailand tourist licinese display and just tell them what you want to do. Touring around the area with door to door pickup service should run between 40 and 75 usd per person. It is up to you to decide your budget and the type of service you would want.
cheers tommy x
The Grand Palace, Wat Arun and Vimanek you certainly don't need to join a tour as they are easy to reach by public xport or taxi (which is very cheap) . Dameon Saduak is a little way out of Bangkok so i advise you to join a tour and as a previous poster suggested your hotel will provide information on this.
Besides some hotels, most any travel agency in Bangkok can set you up with shared van tours. They will have a set list of popular places that tourists visit. Pick up is at your hotel and they return you there at the end of the day. If you want private tours where you do the scheduling you can book a private tour. Two private tour companies that come to mind over the years are Rat and Tong.
For Bangkok maybe get a hotel not far from city rail service will help you get around the city easier. Keep in mind that meter taxis in Bangkok are not that expensive when you use the meter and the price is the same for one passenger or for four.
There is a fantastic VT member named travelagent4thailand, his real name is Winston, This is his home page [original VT link] He is VERY professional, knowledgeable and probably in the top 2% of Thai agents.
You do not need travel agent to go to Grand Palace and Wat Arun, these two places are very nearby. It depend where you stay, if you stay near Kao San Road then you can walk there it about 10 min.
If you look on the transportation page for bangkok Mr Toms taxi/minibus service he will take your group for a half/whole day service stopping for coffee/lunch breaks at very reasonable costs.
