The pyramid of El Castillo easily rivals anything found in Egypt and if you're fortunate enough to be present on either the spring or autumn equinox you can witness the distinct shadow of a plumed serpent cast by this imposing structure. But even if you can't make your visit at these times, the best preserved ruins of the mighty Aztec empire are a must on any traveler's "Bucket List".…see moresee less
Prison Island served as a quarantine location for British territories in East Africa during an outbreak of Yellow Fever in the 1920s. Today, it houses a private hotel, as well as a sanctuary for Aldabra Giant Tortoises. Visitors can pet and feed the turtles, some of which are over 150 years old!

Munich's biggest public square, is the centre of social activity in the city. Check out the Glockenspiele with cute figurines. Forget what time the figures dance, but you shouldn't miss that when you're there.
I would recommend you come to the Blue Lagoon directly from the airport if your flight arrives at 7,8,9 in the morning. Hotel Check-in is not until 3pm and this place will relax your mind a body from the over night flight.
One of the best starters I've ever eaten. Heston's Meat Fruit was beautiful to look at and amazing to eat. Can't wait to try it again when next in London!
