beautiful place. If you don't stay here at least stop by for a drink at the little cabana style bar down by the water.

We stayed at Kona Village Resort which is close to and, I think, owned by Four Seasons. It is quiet and refined. Demographically, slightly on the older side though.

Maybe one of the best spas I've been to -- I was there when I was pregnant and they had so many treatments just for me!

A necessary stop when I visit my niece and nephew in Florida.

It makes sense that the luxurious Plaza Athenee is home to the culinary genius of Chef Alain Ducasse. His food is just incredible!

Over Christmas/New Years they have an ice skating rink in the courtyard. Very cool to see kiddies ice skating while their parents had a drink in the hall.

Generally when people talk about this museum they say Les Invalides which is really the area that contains everything from the Hotel des Invalides all the way down past the church. I love this area but mostly because I love French history--if you don't my guess is this won't interest you very much.
